Opera Singer who sped through Mar-A-Lago barriers refuses to go before judge
The lady who might have been intoxicated but more likely is just crazy that got shot at by secret service for racing past security checkpoints at Mar-A-Lago has now refused to go before the judge to face her charges.
30-year-old Hannah Roemhild is charged with aggravated assault of an officer.
Roemhild crashed through Mar-a-Lago security barriers, led law enforcement on a chase, and behaved erratically, the sheriff’s office said.
A neighbor of hers in Connecticut who has known her for years spoke to reporters. She said that Roemhild had recently started acting strange.
“She would be…just not Hannah. She would just sit there. You know, and I’d say, ‘You asked me over here, what’s wrong,’ and she’d say, ‘I’m just not happy.”
Neighbors described several strange incidents involving Roemhild, including her killing a live chicken and being out in the cold in a bikini.
“She starts laying on the ground and running around, pulling her hair back and I say what are you doing and she says I’m being a mermaid, she was fantasizing.”
The neighbor affiliates spoke with says she believes Roemhild has depression but she still has no idea what led to Friday’s actions.
“I do know she had some issues. What they were, I don’t know.”
